The Little Big Horn Associates, Inc. (the "LBHA") was incorporated under the laws of the state of Ohio on January 2, 1979, as a not-for-profit corporation. The LBHA is organized exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code.

LBHA members promote high standards of scholarship and instruction in studies associated with George Armstrong Custer and the The Battle of the Little Big Horn. The LBHA facilitates communication among scholars through meetings and publications. Membership includes subscriptions to the Newsletter and Research Review.
